Community Art Exhibition: gardens of the imagination

The Grosvenor Chapel and the Royal Academy of Arts have teamed up again this year to offer a Community Based Art Project, “Gardens of the Imagination” to Mayfair.

The RA has just launched an exhibition, “The Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse”, which is the inspiration for this project.

The RA is sending art facilitators into local schools and is also running an “Art Club” for vulnerable people from the following organisations:  St Mungo’s; The Connection at St Martin in the Fields; The Passage; Westminster Drugs; Seymour Art Collective; Arlington House;  Studio 5.

The Chapel has organised for an art facilitator, Kriton Papadopoulos, to go into local businesses to run art workshops and also workshops for local residents at the Mayfair Public Library on 13th and 20th April, 6pm - 7.15pm.
