Lent Course: "Sent in Lent: Exploring the Mission of God
in our Lives"
During Lent we will join with St George's and St John's Hyde Park to explore the
dynamics of God's calling and sending in our lives. Join us on Wednesdays at 7.00 pm
in the Chapel Garden Room (blue door opposite the Florist, Pulbrook & Gould) for a
light supper and lively discussion amongst friends both old and new.
Across the four sessions we will discuss the ways in which we are loved and
received by God and how this gives us the freedom to deal with the pressures we face
with an imaginative and compassionate response.
Wednesday 13th March: Who does God send?
Wednesday 20th March: 'Failed to send'
Wednesday 27th March: How are we sent?
Wednesday 3rd April: Where are we sent?
This will accompanied by a series of Visiting Preachers during Lent at 11.00 am Sung Eucharist elaborating some of the themes:
Sunday 17th March: The Rev’d Charlotte Bradley, Chaplain to UCL - followed by Chapel lunch
Sunday 24th March: The Rev’d Richard Carter, Associate Vicar of St Martin-in-the-Fields -
followed by a Chapel Lunch
Sunday 7th April: Fr Nicolas Stebbing, CR, Founder of the Charity Tariro.
