Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm.
Sunday 9am - 1pm
The Lord is full of compassion and mercy,
Slow to anger and of great goodness.
As a father is tender towards his children,
So is the Lord tender to those that fear him.
(from The Funeral Service)
It is very important that each human life at its end is laid to rest with both dignity and prayer. At the Chapel funerals are services of thanksgiving and with readings, hymns and prayers, we commend the soul of the departed to the love and safe-keeping of God. After the service the remains of the deceased are taken either to be buried or cremated.
Please contact the Administrator to discuss the planning of a funeral. It is important, also, to inform the undertaker of the priest’s contact details.
On the Feast of All Souls, the traditional time of the year when the Church remembers the souls of the departed we have a Vespers, "The Lighting of the Lamps", and pray for those whom we love but see no longer. The next Service is on 2nd November 2015 at 7pm.
