VERGER & LITURGICAL ADMINISTRATOR

We are currently seeking a Verger & Liturgical Administrator to play a key role in helping to ensure services run smoothly, supporting the clergy and helping to oversee the practical care of the worship space.

The main working hours are Sunday mornings from 9.30am to 2pm and public holidays at Easter and Christmas, with additional weekday and Saturday hours to cover services and bookings that require a verger, as well as limited weekday hours for administration.

This role is based in the UK, and applicants must already have the right to work here.

The role is offered on a self-employed basis. Previous experience as a verger, whether paid or voluntary, would be welcome, but training can be provided. We also encourage applications from candidates with transferable skills from backgrounds, such as facilities management in a heritage or historic building setting, high-end hospitality, events management, customer service, or other public-facing roles.

For further information, including details of how to apply, please see the Job Advert, Job Description & Person Specification below.
